|08:58 pm - And life goes on|
Uni has started back up again. To which I respond with a mixture of "Ack!" and "Yay!"
And extreme tiredness. Note to self: Get sleep-pattern back to something resembling normality. One should not be completely exhausted by 9pm.
In any case, onto my day.
The Psych lecturer wasn't fantastic, but we are doing personality traits, which interest me enough to make up for it. Plus, he used a Far Side image for one of his slides, which was For The Win.
Though, I think the fact that when I heard the name Kant, my reaction was to get The Philosophers' Song stuck in my head is not entirely good sign.
Random Psych factoid: Under Eysenck's model for personality traits, Creativity is classified under Psychoticism. This amuses me.
Astronomy this semester is Stars and Galaxies, so pretty, pretty pictures, hurrah!
But it means I miss most of the FAS events, woe. I only got the end of the Gandalf vs Darth Vader battle.
Oh, and in HPS we saw a video about the Milgram Experiment.
On the HPS note: Apparently, a whole lot of people on my flist are in my Science, Philosophy and History lecture. Now, some of you I know in RL, but some I don't. And I really don't know what you look like. Care to arrange some identifying features for next lecture?
I was the blonde in the black hat sitting in the front row on the left.
And in current fandomly amusement: The fictional characters hate meme.
ETA: According to Teh OG, there is filming going on in Cardiff RIGHT NOW. For some strange reason, this really weirds me out.
The Milgrim experiment!
Oh, you're so lucky to be doing SPH. Wish I was again. Pity the poor maths student.
Bzzt. Hehehehe. Bzzzt.
I think certain people I know would have far too much fun if they were asked to take part in that experiment.
Yeah, marcella_riddle (I think that's her name?) has had piccies up of the filming. She's on my flist if you want to see.
No, they are from a few days back. When I say now, I mean now. As in, there are people at this very moment watching the filming in Cardiff on the OG.
That hate meme amuses me more than it should. Mainly when people hijack other people's comments, and there's confusion.
A bit like the other hate threads out there, actually.
It is rather amusing, yes.
Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed . .
You know, I'd just got that bloody song out of my head.
...Damn you. I'm never going to get it out of my head now.
Iiiiiiiiimmanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable...
I'D JUST GOT IT OUT OF MY HEAD!
Oh, and my favorites were the Dalek threads, BTW. I have never had so much fun with the capslock key in my life. I also managed to recruit an entire new staff for the TARDIS across several pages, make up with Romana, bitch at Four about leather bikinis, sick bees on Rose and, in my non-Who moments, announce the sexual deficits of Prince Charming to the world and tell Luigi from Mario Brothers to suck my cock. Oh, and I accused Han Solo of having an affair with Chewbacca, and threaten to beat up Dante from Clerks because he wouldn't stop whining. Among other things. XD
The Elmo threads were made of win and love, too, and the snakes on a plane were brilliant, but I didn't have anything to do with those so that's just me admiring from afar. XD XD
And now I want to make a Rose icon that says "Erotic bees, my angel?" because that line nearly made me wet myself laughing. Hee!
Why must all the fun stuff happen while I am at Uni?

Re: Immanuel Kant was a real pissant...
I think it's contagious.
Stars and Galaxies is such a pretty subject =) If I wasn't such a physics reject I'd be doing it again this year, I loved it.
Second semester Psych...I liked first semester better because of the hawt lecturer. *swoon faint*
*giggle snort* Ah yes, the good ol' Milgram experiment. Nothing I like better than seeing a man send
fake volts of electricity into another one.
Wait, that came out wrong...
Woe, identifying features, I...don't really have any. I'll probably be wearing jeans and a white jacket, however. No, wait, jacket's in the wash.
I'll be the one that's turned up naked due to having no clean clothes =(
Well, then you will certainly stand out from the crowd.
Hmmm, I think you've seen me once before but that was months ago, lol, but just in case, I've got blonde highlights...actually I think that's about all the distinguishing features I have *thinks* Oh, I also have a Coheed and Cambria patch/badges on my bag...
Well, I'll certainly keep an eye out. Watch out for a someone in a hat!
