|04:15 am - ZOMG!|
Next chapter of the Cassie Claire thing is up now. Complete with lots of plagiarism examples and all!
ETA: But wait, there's more!
Current Mood: enthralled
Surprisingly few supporters for CC as yet, though.
I've read and enjoyed the VSD. I've never been in Harry Potter fandom, not really. I'm just reading this with astounded interest.
Well Heidi, who is normally her main defender, had a death in the family I believe, so has been away from the net.
Otherwise... I think everyone is just reading in disbelief.
Oh? Care to share your thoughts with us who are not you? Inquiring Minds wish to... inquire.
It's always irritating when people get rewards that they really haven't earned. I mean, I've never experienced anything on this sort of scale, but the idea behind it I can sort of understand.
That said, I've always believed that just as we are all entitled to our own opinions, we are also entitled to accept the consequences of those opinion. The same goes for actions. We possess free will to do whatever we choose, and the price we pay for this is having to deal with the consequences of our actions.
Sooner or later, Cassie Claire will get her consequences. And this might just be them.
I get the horrible feeling that something will come of this you know, I can feel it in my waters and it's not going to be pretty. Honestly, the way resentments have been bubbling for the last few years . . . I shudder to think where it'll end.
But I'll be glued to it because it's better than any of the soaps.
Wow, just... wow. *stares in disbelief*
I think wow pretty much sums it up.
It is amazing into how much trouble people go into just to 'pretend' to write good fic.
I find this fascinating. If for no other reason that looking at it is like dissecting a research paper. It's like a book rec essay. I'm already checking out Pamela Dean on amazon.com.
I think Pamela Dean has suddenly become very, very popular.
Of course now, I want to find some good HP writers to read as well. I'm reading something by GarlandGraves now.
Holy flying WTF. The MsScribe nonsense took me a week to read. Now this. *headdesk* But of course I will read it, or else how will I go on? Always wondering what I missed.
Sigh. I both love you and am irritated to have this brought to my attention, all at the same time.
I bring you the good crack.
