|06:23 pm - A question of great importance|
So, on my shopping expedition yesterday (which you may or may not here more about; we shall see), one of the things I picked up was an external hard drive for my computer. Because I was in need of more space, yo.
And I've got most of the important stuff backed up now, and can start fiddling around, but something still remain unknown:
What shall I call it?
The winning entry will win... something.

Is it blue? Call it TARDIS, because it can go anywhere. *G*
Actually, it's grey. Same colour as my icon, to be exact.

The Grey Pilgrim. Or Ulysses. As it will travel around a lot.
Well... not so much with the travelling, really.
What do you mean, "why?"?
The Oncoming Storage *facepalms*
That's so terribly it's brilliant!

As it's a harddrive and is bigger on the inside than the outside, you should call it HARDIS.
That sounds a bt dirty, actually.
(Now to check I haven't been hopelessly unoriginal and someone else came up with it already...)
My vote is so with The Oncoming Storage. TOS for short.
Cause who hasnt ever wanted to go 'Damn, where's my TOS?!'
'Damn, where's my TOS?!'
I ask myself that every now and then, when everything on TV is boring again ;)
We have two, called "I like Cake" and "Dinky Nut". We also have two macs, the G5 being "BigMac". I vote again for "The Oncoming Storage"...
Which reminds me of something a politico said on BBC News today about the current Critical alert in the UK. We're aparently due an 'oncoming storm' of terrorism, or something.
The idea of an "oncoming storm" of terrorism produces some odd mental images, I'll have you know.
I should as my DH. He's always naming stuff something weird. The last network thingamabob was "Bucktooth Binky"... now my laptop tells me I'm connected to "Wombat Love."
