 | 03:25 pm - Guess who's back...back again... My greatest apologies for quoting Eminem - I blame my sister and her CD collection. But to business.
Yes, back on Wednesday, I had my second Specialist Maths exam, this one the Analysis task one. Like all analysis exams it was tricky, but most of it was at least attemptable, if not actually solvable. So I have the weird feeling I shall be actually going against the trend and will get a higher score on this than for my first Maths exam.
In other news, this weekend is an Exeat at the boarding house - there is some gala on today, so there is no school for anyone, and most of the younger boarders have taken off. There are still quite a few of us around though, I must admit.
Next exam is Physics on Wednesday, then Chemistry on the Friday. Am slightly annoyed by the timing, because it means I can't go to a Terry Pratchett signing in Melbourne. I have to miss it for the second year in a row. *grumbles about evil examiners* Hopefully I'll have better luck next time Pterry is in Town.

Yes, there's always next year.
Good thing Pratchett isn't an old feeble man that might never return.
Never have read any of his books, though. You. Must. Read. Pratchett.

Yes Miss.
Which is the one(s?) with Death's grandaughter in it? That'd be Soul Music - or at least that's the first one with Susan (that's her name) in it. She's also in Hogfather and Thief of Time. From: | aeque |

Very well. To please you, I'll put Soul Music into my schedule.
Is that also the one where there's the weirdo band (one member is a golem/rockman) and the motorbike? The motor bike and band thing are in Soul Music as well - there are a lot of Rock Music jokes. Why it is one of my favourite Pratchett books, actually. From: | aeque |

I've seen bits and pieces of it on the cartoon. So must watch that again...when I saw it last time, I hadn't read the book, so it should make more sense now. From: | aeque |

I also saw some of the one with the king being killed, and walking around as a ghost. That was called Wyrd Sisters. It was all basically a huge parody of Macbeth, so if you have read that, the jokes make so much more sense... From: | aeque |

We did it in Yr 10.
The movie was so bad - but not nearly as disturbing as the remake of Othello - 'O'. Hollywood remakes *shakes head* From: | aeque |

It was actually a decent remake - just disturbing.
Shakespeare and basketball is an odd mix. Basketball? *shakes head again* From: | aeque |

You heard correctly. Well, there's some classical.
I'd recommend it though, for the hilarity of some scenes. Shall put it on my "Movies to Watch" list.

But ratings season will end, and they'll put on bad, already cancelled shows.
Although, Channel 7 might give Futurama another chance... God, I hope so... Though since I have it all on DVD, it would be a little pointless. From: | aeque |

I suppose so.
But it'd bring it to the Futuram-DVD-less... From: | aeque |
