Ack. Sam (the other room-mate) is back again, after a week with her parents. Or something. I don't now much about her, excpet that I hardly ever see her, she seems to spend vast amounts of time with her boyfriend over, and she likes listening to heavy metal music. Right. Next. Door. To. Me.
Okay, so went down into the city today for yet another of my in-search-of-a-job wanderings. Again, several resumes were dropped off at random places, including one at a *shudder* fast food place.
Yes, I am starting to lose patience, and gain desperation. On the plus side, the fast food place has promised to get back to me within two weeks, which means I might actually hear
from one of these places, rather than just get completely ignored.
In slightly more cheerful city-related news, whilst lurking around in search of job related things, I managed to do a bit of shopping. Discovered that seconds and rejects stores are almost as good as op-shops for nice bargains (I mean a purple and gold stretch Witchery skirt for five
Also, ducked into JB, that store of stores, and found they actually had a copy of Blackpool. Yays for JB Hi-Fi!
Naturally, I bought it, and have been spending a large part of this evening watching it. I've seen the first three episodes so far.
And...well, OMGtehawesomes! The singing! The dancing! The Tennant!The accent! The continual eating! The ice-cream! The lollipop! The kissage! The headboard (dear Lord, the headboard!) The oh-so-slashy "These Boots Were Made For Walking"! The really, really cool music!
There is no end to the awesome. I love it to pieces. *goes to watch more*
