Academia Attacks!

Argh! Due to wonders of getting stacks of assignments all at once, this evening I end up spending like an hour and a half in the Library with an Unspellable Name, photocopying info for that damnable Joyce essay. And then there's that Maths assignment I need to finish off...and the programming test tomorrow. Although, I have decided that unless it is a lab report, Psychology doesn't count as work, cos it is so absolutely fascinating.

On the subject of Psych, I have decided that I like the new lecturer. Others can't understand what he is on about, apparently, but I do, and I am really liking it. And he is funny!

Some choice quotes from todays lecture:
"There is no use musing about the eternal verities of beauty when you are about to be eaten."
"Symbolic network can allows us to think about things that don't exist...unicorns...honest politicians..."

It's nice to see a teacher that can actually make a joke.

Oh, and on the subject of amusing things, I invite all my friended people to take a look at this last post by ant_power. It relates the St Kilda footy team to the Fellowship of the Ring, and is quite possible the funniest thing I have read in ages.

And in one final note: whilst on my mad photocopying spree (which cost my like 5 bucks all up), i had a conversation with a girl with the coolest hair ever. It was a funky cut, and dark with pink and blonde streaks through it. So I open the question to you all: I am planning on sometime in the future getting a really crazy hair-style. Any suggestions on how I should have it?
