|11:21 pm - You truly cannot make this shit up|
It just so happens that this very post here is the 1,000th post I have made to my LJ (I seem to be in a bit of an LJ anniversary mood at the moment, huh).
In order to celebrate this anniversary to it's fullness, I have decided to link you to what is very possibly the greatest thing in the entire history of the Internet. Nay, the world.
Dragostea Din Tei (aka The Numa Numa Song), being sung by ...Opera singers.
I love the Internet.
My God, it's full of crack!
My brain, he is broken. Congrats on the 1000 posts!
What I want to know is how the singers were convinced to do this.

It's usually not that hard to get people to do something silly for the sheer joy of it. Ever hear about the zombie yoga in the park? Someone wanted a bunch of people to play zombies doing yoga in the park.
Response from actors and zombie fans: minor.
Response from yoga enthusiasts: absolutely overwhelming.
Can you imagine the rehearsals for this, though? They would have been crazy.
That ... is solid GOLD. XDDD
Congrats on 1000!
Indeed. I saw it, and just had to share.
Awesome, but I do very much want to shoot the soprano.
