Wanted: One child to perform psychological experiments on

Okay, it's really just an interview with said child, but it's for one of my Psych classes. So it's more fun to talk about things like this.

Anyway, I meant to post this a little while back but I, er, forgot. Luckily, I should still have a couple of weeks to get stuff sorted out.

So: This is to all the peoples on my flist who live in Melbourne - or at least have family in Melbourne. See, for one of our assessment tasks in Cognitive and Neuro Development, we are required to report on an interview with a child aged between 6 and 13 years - basically, a primary school aged kid.

Unfortunately, none of my family members fit in this specific age group. So, I'm asking if any of the Melbournites (or those with family in Melbourne) have a relative in this age group that I would be allowed to interview in a few weeks time.

I can't give precise details of what it will entail since I haven't been given exact details yet, but it's been approved by the Melbourne Uni ethics committee, and there will be permission forms and details to give to the parent/guardian, and so on and so forth.

It's just we are sort of expected to have a subject ready when we are given the information. And I don't as yet.

So... anyone willing to volunteer their sibling/child/cousin/kid they babysit?

You can ask as many questions as you want now, though I can't really answer all of them 'til lectures start up and I get more info. I can keep people updated as I know more, though. And I can screen comments on request if you're worried about privacy.
