|11:12 pm - In which my Creative Writing class is, well, creative|
I give you a mental image that will live on in infamy: Vampire Borat.
Yeah, this is the kind of insanity my Radical Fiction class is capable of coming up with. Though it may have been sorta kinda my fault for causing the class to start talking about vampires for like the last hour (I don't even know how I did it! I just seem to know a ridiculous amount about vampire stories for someone who doesn't actually like them much).
Oh, Creative Writing randomness, you amuse me so.
...Though I do need to get cracking on my actual writing piece soon, I suppose.
Current Mood: silly
I'm guessing he also sparkles?
How do they mean/teach radical fiction, she asked
Basically, each week a bunch of people in the class present on a text they think is radical (ie. challenging/innovative) and we have discussions on why it could be called radical. This has so included discussions on content, format, writing style, language usage etc.
It's this class
to be precise.
I wish they'd offered that when I was there!
It's kinda fun, if vague.
