 | 10:05 pm - Oh no I just found out from Twitter that Diana Wynne Jones is dead.
That's just so sad! And unexpected, even though I knew she was getting on in the years and had been sick for a while. I loved her books so much as a kid. I think I may need to do some rereading. ;_; Current Mood: sad

Oh no. A world without Diana Wynne Jones writing stories? That's just not right. :'( RIP Diana.
I need to go reread Archer's Goon now... I have so many of her books to reread now. (And so many I need to buy, since I first read them as library books.) I sort of had to buy them if I wanted to read them - it's far from all of them that's been translated into Danish. The good thing about that is that I have a pretty good selection always at hand! Still need the Dalemark quartet, though. Haven't read that one in ages. I haven't actually read those. See, the library didn't have the first one, and seemed a bit pointless to jump in part way through. ![[User Picture]](https://l-userpic.livejournal.com/67998069/11106658) | From: | agapi42 |

What? Oh no.
I loved her books as a kid. I still do. The Merlin Conspiracy is one of my very favourites. I think the Chrestomanci books were my favourites, though that might just be because they were the first I came across. But she had such wonderful ideas. What? No! This is devastating! I loved her books! She had such a distinct sense of humor in her writing. The literary world just lost a incredible imagination. ![[User Picture]](https://l-userpic.livejournal.com/96311092/12679781) | From: | taithe |
