|10:21 pm - The best part of today was the rainbow table.|
Well, one assignment has been completed (and as I was rather intending, before fa11ing_away's birthday bash this weekend), leaving me just one thing to do this semester. And the thing I finished isn't even due until Monday.
It also has a table with pretty rainbow colours.
Of course, it just happens to be the one which requires some creative use of ICT. Yeah, so I'll have to ponder that for a bit.
Oh, and speaking of fa11ing_away's birthday party, (masquerade themed, for those not in the know), I have sorted out my outfitness. There was a mild issue with my mask and my dress not matching very well, but I have come up with a cunning plan to make my colour scheme work. Now I'll just need to work out public transport arrangements when wearing what is basically a ball gown. Huzzah!
So what is up with you guys in LJ land? Aside from the ones I have chatted to, recently.
And your daily supply of linked nifty things:
- I could legally get Batman number plates for my car. If I actually owned a car, that is. But points for that, Victoria.
- And since I'm talking Batman, the Book of Batman. Of course someone is making a Batman bible.
- Magic cards with googly eyes. It's hilariously adorable! And actually makes me think Magic is vaguely interesting for once.
Current Mood: pleased
The number plates have actually had me contemplating over the past few days the possibility of learning to drive just so I can get a car just to put them on. My priorities may be a little skewed.
You could have a Batmobile!
That'd be just plain nifty.
Pics of you on PT definitely requested, along with reactionary shots from the public ;)
Somehow I doubt that will happening. Bit awkward to take pics of myself, you see.
Where's the paparazzi when you need them?
Alas, I do not get the film star treatment.
... so I have a new religion now. Thx.
Also, being a nerd I winced at some of those googly eyed Magic cards because they could have been sold for decent amounts of cash. -.- Money > art in my heart apparently.
I sometimes get the suspicion you would not be alone in that religion. And it's preferable to some that currently exist, anyway.
Oh, you're one of them. Strange Magic peoples...
Well, I mean really, what religious figure could stand up to the freaking Batman?
Apart from some kind of religion based on Doctor Doom I suppose.
And yes, I am, lol. i don't play very much anymore but I made a lot of friends playing it so I still do it once in a while.
Well, I have seen a religion based on the Doctor
I know a lot of people who play Magic, but I... don't. It is a strange and baffling thing to me.
My old housemate used to call them "Tragic players"
