So… my computer has been completely screwed over by a bloody virus, and about the only way I can see of fixing it involves completely reinstalling Windows.
…I went down to Casa Del to ask about the job, and I was old that if I hadn’t heard back from them, I most likely didn’t have it.
…I have a Maths exam tomorrow.
What a fucking awful day.

PS: Do any of you Melbournites know of somewhere I could get a job in the Brunswick/Parkville/Carlton/City region?
PPS: I am not getting comment notifications. Does anyone else have this problem?

I looked over at  lj_maintainence. Appartently it's like that for a shitload of people. We are not alone. I feel much better about it, now. I am getting some, but not others - it is very odd.
And irritating. LJ is a little buggered up right now, I'm not getting comments notifications either and that sucks.
Bummer you had such a bad day, I shall have your fic up by the morning I should hope and I think it should go down okay...I think. I had noticed.
Yay, fic for me! One thing that never fails to make me feel better!
Though I shall feel much better as of the weekend. Mmm, new flat...
*snickers immaturely at "go down well"* Try Red Rooster in Barkly Square - if you don't mind low pay and bad conditions (though if you work at night, you get free food. :) ). They've been looking for people for ages, and you don't even need any experience. I don't know if he's still there, but the manager Johnny is really nice - it's just that they're seriously understaffed that he gets a little grumpy sometimes.
I'm not sure if they're after a resume or if they just want you to fill in a form, but it's on Sydney Rd, if you're interested.
Ummm.... *racks brain for signs in the area*
I'll take a look after exams. Well, it's better than nothing, and very close to where I'll be living.

Maybe it's preparing us for having a spectacular crash and going down for a week. That would be evil. It's mostly because they went and changed servers just a day or two ago. Now they have lots of screw ups. Yes, I'm not getting comment notifications-It has to do with them switching the whole of LJ's data base from Seattle to San Francisco. You could join the Coles-Myer family of serfdom, there's plenty of stores in the area. Or any other large chain stores (safeway...), possibly even something to do with fashion? I put an online application for Coles-Myer back in about July. It is still listed as being considered.
Which is bloody annoying, I assure you. Didn't get comment notifications either...

Yes, job hunting is very tedious and annoying. Have been and still am. Have that silly sales job (if you're desperate, it's EASY to get a job in door-to-door sales), but need something anything else. |
