|03:54 am - THAT BITCH!|
So, I was just about to finish up for the night and go get some sleep, and I hear The Roommate Who Hates Me leave. The timing puzzles me, but I had already discovered (through our patented leaving notes around system) that she was off for a week.
So I think nothing of it,and get ready for bed. Now, the last thing I am about to do is check my email. So I go up to the computer, and it isn't working. I try again. Not working, and MSN has signed me out.
I try to sign in, and get an error - and the troubleshoot isn't working. Now, this is starting to look familiar, so I dig up my instructions on how to reset the modem. And it doesn't work.
I try again. Still doesn't work.
At this point, I am utter bewildered, and start the normal types of fix-y things, restarting, turning the router on and off, et al. Still no change.
And I suddenly notice all the lights on the modem are dead. This worries me greatly. I check the cords, and they are all in correctly, and so I do the desperate thing, and ring that bloody ISP place.
And so, while I stand there, having being put on hold for an epic time, and just having someone on the other end speak to me, what do I notice?
That the little powerpoint, hidden behind the microwave, with a little black cord up to the modem is turned off.
Yes, that's right, just before she left, she flicked the power on the modem. Without telling me.
THAT BITCH! THAT FUCKING BITCH!
I am so glad I leave this place in a week.
My flatmate may steal money, but at least she was polite and nice about all the time I spent on dial-up before our router arrived.
The petty is MAD petty indeed. Tut.
She is very, very petty. And it bugs me muchly.
However, the day she gets back is the day I move out, so I don't have to put up with her for a week.
Thank God you're moving out. I recommend turning the freezer off when you leave or maybe sewing tuna into the back of the sofa.
I can't do that, though, because one of the other people who lives here (who's room I am in, and is coming back next week, hence me moving out) is a good friend of mine. And is also the girlfriend of one of the people I am planning to move in with.
So it won't happen.
Oh well, if you didn't have friends still living there it would have been a workable plan.

Oh, that's mean.
Good luck with the house hunt.
I am, of course, sorry for you.
But it was amusing. In a nasty sort of way.
I leave in precisely one week. So that is good.
Less good is the lack of anywhere to go. *sighs*
