But still, n00bs everywhere! *flails*
Apart from all the n00bs, work was pretty much the same as always: a mixture of dull and entertainingly weird.
I did have the crappiest "isn't home" attempt ever, though.
I was given a number from this man for his son, Kieran, as a possibility for selling some tickets. So I ring the number and ask the girl who answers for Kieran. She says she'll go get him. So, she wanders, and I hear her telling some guy - who would be Kieran - that someone's on the phone for him. He wants to know who it is.
So she comes back to the phone and ask who to say is calling. I tell her I'm from The Comedy Club. She takes her few steps away from the phone, and tells Kieran. He says he isn't interested. She says he doesn't know what I want, but he is just a bit apathetic.
So she comes back and tells me he isn't home. In disbelief, I comment that I could hear him talking.
Her response: "Err...he's in the bath." And then hangs up.
Uh-huh.
